Muhlenberg College

Senior Muhlenberg field hockey player Erin DiSandro has been awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. DiSandro will be attending medical school at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia after graduation.

Danielle Costanzo (Muhlenberg College, 2019) is a 2022-23 recipient of an Omicron Delta Kappa Sally K. Albrecht Arts Scholarship. Costanzo graduated magna cum laude from Muhlenberg College. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in dance science and theatre. During her time at Muhlenberg, she was a course tutor for anatomy and kinesiology, biology of movement, and biological and abnormal psychology classes. In addition, Costanzo served as a panelist for new admission recruits and was very active as a performer in multiple dance and theatre productions. She was secretary for the Muhlenberg College Circle and helped organize and promote circle service projects and create awareness of ODK for prospective members. Costanzo is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Costanzo has been involved in community activities, including a term serving as the Model World Health Organization president and as a volunteer for the Art Therapy program for her local hospital and the National Alliance for Mental Illness. She is pursuing a Master of Arts at Rider University in the clinical mental health counseling program, with a concentration in dance and movement therapy. Costanzo hopes to help others through creativity and the healing method of movement.

Designed to encourage outstanding students to pursue research careers in the natural sciences, engineering and mathematics, the Goldwater Scholarship is the preeminent undergraduate award of its type in these fields.

Students who receive this honor are recognized for their commitment to solving public problems.

Kevan Shah was named a finalist for The Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation, which received a record number of applications this year.

Davis is among the scholarship recipients honored for outstanding academic performance in physics.

One of 12 annual award winners, Kelly received the Thomas D. Rossing Fund for Physics Education given to exemplary students in the field by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

Kelly Tornetta '19, a physics and math double major and volleyball player, earns one of 42 $10,000 awards for athletes from NCAA member institutions of all sizes.
