Muhlenberg Students Earn Shankweiler Scholar Graduation Designation
Graduating in the top tenth of their high school class, Shankweiler Scholars exhibit significant extra-curricular accomplishments, SAT scores of at least 1350, and demonstrate interest in pursuing a medical degree upon entering college. To graduate with the "Shankweiler Scholar" designation, Muhlenberg students must carry a 3.3 GPA and successfully complete courses in "Medicine as a Human Endeavor," "Medicine and Society" and the senior year Shankweiler Scholars Seminar.

To graduate with the "RJ Fellows" designation, students must carry a 3.3 cumulative G.P.A., meet standards of good campus citizenship and other program requirements.

Muhlenberg's New Shankweiler Scholars Program
The Shankweiler Scholars program is the newest honors program at Muhlenberg, designed for students with an interest in a future career as a physician and who also have other broad intellectual interests in the liberal arts, including the humanities and social sciences.

Students are Inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society
Six students were recently inducted into the Muhlenberg College chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest and most prestigious honorary society in America. Only 10% of U.S. colleges and universities have Phi Beta Kappa chapters. These chapters select only 10% of their arts and sciences graduates to join.
