WMUH Radio hosted the seventh annual Radio Riff-Off competition in Muhlenberg College's Red Door Cafe, marking the first event to be held in the newly-renovated venue.

"FUSE 2026" is a showcase for collaborations between choreographers and other artists, researchers, and scholars across the Muhlenberg College campus.

Audiences who attended the theatre production of "Everybody" at Muhlenberg College this spring had no idea what to expect from their theatrical experience. But neither did the actors -- right down to what role they'd be playing.

"In Motion" is Muhlenberg College's annual premiere dance concert, featuring choreographic works by Muhlenberg's accomplished dance faculty and guest artists. This year's production takes place February 5-7, in the college's Baker Center for the Arts, Empie Theatre.

Muhlenberg's choirs, ensembles, and bands performed original compositions and timeless classics during several fall 2025 concerts.

Muhlenberg's advanced choreography students offered exhilarating world premiere works this November, exploring a wide range of subjects, moods, and dance styles. Telling personal stories through the transfigurative medium of dance, the student-choreographers were led by dance program chair Heidi Cruz-Austin.

"Ride the Cyclone" opened the 2025-26 Muhlenberg College Theatre and Dance season this fall -- staged in Muhlenberg's intimate black box theatre. it was directed by theatre professor Troy Dwyer, with choreography by Sophia Wentz '26 and musical direction by Brian Chu.

Four graduating seniors presented original capstone artwork during the annual Senior Art Exhibition this spring, in the Muhlenberg College Center for the Arts, Martin Art Gallery.

"The Play That Goes Wrong," directed by Jim Van Valen, is an Olivier Award-winning farce and a global comic phenomenon, showing October 30 to November 2 in Muhlenberg College's Baker Theatre.

The "Contemporary music festival: the music of Vincent Trovato" concert was held March 22, in the Baker Center for the Arts, Empie Theatre.

"Blue Stockings" will be performed in Muhlenberg College's Dorothy Hess Baker Theatre, Feb. 27-March 2. The play tells the story of four women at the first women's college at Cambridge, campaigning for the right to receive their degrees upon graduation.

Muhlenberg's annual tour-de-force dance concert features world-premiere dance works by acclaimed guest artists and faculty, performed by Muhlenberg College student-artists. "In Motion 2025" takes place Feb.6-8 in the Baker Center for the Arts' Paul C. Empie Theatre, Allentown, Pa., featuring the innovative works of Baker Artist-in-Residence David Dorfman, guest artist Kyle "JustSole" Clark, and Muhlenberg dance faculty Heidi Cruz-Austin, Karen Dearborn, Noel Price-Bracey, and Robyn Watson, and Artistic Director Karen Dearborn.

Muhlenberg College student-choreographers and dancers presented seven new dance pieces as part of the college's "Studio Sessions" in December. Under the guidance of artistic director and dance professor Lisa Busfield, each original piece demonstrates growth and the journey of collaborative, creative leadership.

Muhlenberg College dancers spearheaded their own choreographic endeavors, under the guidance of dance professor Robyn Watson in fall 2024. Twelve student-choreographed dances were performed by more than 60 student dancers.

The musical "Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812," written by Dave Malloy and directed by James Peck, was performed Oct. 31-Nov. 3, 2024, in Muhlenberg College's Empie Theatre. The work is a musical adaptation of a scandalous 70-page segment from Leo Tolstoy's 1869 novel "War and Peace."

Running Sept. 26-29, 2024 in the Trexler Pavilion for Theatre & Dance at Muhlenberg College, "The Penelopiad" is author Margaret Atwood's vision of Homer's "The Odyssey," from the perspective of Penelope -- during the 20 years of Odysseus's absence. Known for her novel "The Handmaid's Tale," Atwood adapted the "The Penelopiad" from her own novella.

A choreographic tour-de-force from Muhlenberg's dance faculty choreographers and a guest artist, 'In Motion' ran Feb. 8-10, 2024, featuring student dancers who astonished the community with their tremendous talent.

Muhlenberg student actors performed the hit jukebox musical, "Head Over Heels," in April 2024, put on by the Muhlenberg Theatre and Dance Department.

The Tony-nominated musical 'Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812' came to the Muhlenberg stage, Oct. 31 - Nov. 3.

Last spring's semester penultimate dance concert, Spring Studio Sessions, ran from May 1-3. It featured original dance routines by eight student choreographers with over thirty-five dancers and a new piece by Sanchel Brown called "The REBEARTH."

Muhlenberg students took part in the college's 67th annual Advent Candlelight Carols Service, Dec. 7-8 - held in the Gideon F. Egner Memorial Chapel. Adapted from the Festival of Lessons and Carols of King's College, Cambridge University in England, the event featured stories of promise, songs of hope and liberation and a reminder of the power of presence and community.

Love is complicated, after all... "The Labyrinth of Desire," the romantic comedy that opened the 2023-2034 theatre season, offered a charming love story full of mischief and melodrama.

An unconventional approach to theater created new experiences in "Love and Information," a collaborative performance that ran February 23-26.

An ancient myth got a modern rewrite in 'Medea,' a new script developed in January at Muhlenberg College.

The performances, which ran December 1-3, displayed the talents of 123 students, including choreographers, dancers and crew members.
