Top Muhlenberg College Students Inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society

High achieving Muhlenberg College students were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa this spring. Established in 1776, Phi Beta Kappa is the nation's most prestigious honor society for liberal arts and sciences undergraduates. Only about 10% of U.S. institutions have been granted Phi Beta Kappa chapters and each chapter employs a highly selective, merit-based invitation process to admit members. Because only 8-10% of the students in each member institution's graduating class can be admitted to Phi Beta Kappa, inducted students typically have credentials greatly exceeding the minimum 3.5 GPA in PBK-eligible courses (those outside of applied or professional/vocational courses), the minimum placement in the top 15% of their graduating class, and good student standing.
